Archives help

We currently have all of the Democrat-Gazette's electronic text-only archives available for searching. This includes articles (no photos, graphics or maps; no classifieds or advertising) published by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette from 1994 to the present. It also includes articles from the Arkansas Gazette's electronic archives, which cover the years 1984 to 1991.

There is no way to search online for articles that were published outside these years. We cannot do research for the public due to limited staffing. Instead, we refer you to other sources that have back issues or microfilm. Among them: Arkansas Tech University (501-968-0239), the central library in Little Rock (501-918-3000), the Arkansas History Commission (501-682-6900), UALR (501-569-3120) or the Laman library in North Little Rock (501-758-1720). Other colleges and libraries across the state may also keep copies.
